It is a Turkmen neighborhood founded by people from the Karakeçili tribe, who came from the Urfa/Birecik region, in the village of Bezirgan with a population of approximately 1200, 42 kilometers from Kaş and 12 kilometers from Kalkan. The old name of the neighborhood was Pirha, and since the people settled Bezirgan/Merchant Karakeçili Turkmens, the village was given this name.
